A reliable and reproducible method for the determination of uric acid in urine samples has been developed. The method is based on the modification of a glassy carbon electrode by 3-acetylthiophene using cyclic voltammetry. The poly(3-acetylthiophene) modified glassy carbon electrode showed an excellent electrocatalytic effect towards the oxidation of uric acid in 0.1 m phosphate buffer solution (PBS) at pH 7.2. Compared with a bare glassy carbon electrode (GCE), an obvious shift of the oxidation peak potential in the cathodic direction and a marked enhancement of the anodic current response for uric acid were observed. The poly(3-acetylthiophene)/GCE was used for the determination of uric acid using square wave voltammetry. The peak current increased linearly with the concentration of uric acid in the range of 1.25 x 10(-5)-1.75 x 10(-4) M. The detection limit was 5.27 x 10(-7) M by square wave voltammetry. The poly(3-acetylthiophene)/GCE was also effective to determine uric acid and ascorbic acid in a mixture and resolved the overlapping anodic peaks of these two species into two well-defined voltammetric peaks in cyclic voltammetry at 0.030 V and 0.320 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) for ascorbic acid and uric acid, respectively. The modified electrode exhibited stable and sensitive current responses toward uric acid and ascorbic acid. The method has successfully been applied for determination of uric acid in urine samples.  相似文献

A series of highly proton conductive electrolyte membranes with improved methanol barrier properties are prepared from polyallylamine hydrochloride (PAH) and polystyrene sulfonic acid (PSS) including salt by Layer-by-Layer (LbL) method. The effects of added salt type (NaCl, MgCl2) and salt concentration (1.0 M, 0.1 M) on proton conductivity (σ) and methanol barrier properties of the LbL self-assembled composite membranes are discussed in terms of controlled layer thickness and charge density. Furthermore, the influences of ion type in the multilayered composite membranes are studied in conjunction with physicochemical and thermal properties.The deposition of the self-assembly of PAH/PSS film on Nafion is followed by UV–Vis spectroscopy and it is observed that the polyelectrolyte layers growth on both sides of Nafion membrane regularly. (PAH/PSS)5–Na+ and (PAH/PSS)5–H+ with 1.0 M NaCl exhibits 49.6 and 27.8% reduction in lower methanol permittivity in comparison with the pristine Nafion®117, respectively, while the proton conductivities are 12.97 and 74.69 mS cm−1. Promisingly, it is found that the membrane selectivity values (Φ) of all multilayered membranes in H+ form are much higher than that of salt form (Na+ and Mg2+) and perfluorosulfonated ionomers reported in the literature. Also, we find out that the use of polyelectrolytes with high charge density causes a further improvement in proton conductivity and methanol barrier properties simultaneously. These encouraging results indicate that upon a suitable choice of LbL deposition conditions, composite membranes exhibiting both high proton conductivity and improved methanol barrier properties can be tailored for fuel cells.  相似文献

In the present paper we introduce the concepts of strongly ideal convergent sequence and strong ideal Cauchy sequence in a probabilistic metric (PM) space endowed with the strong topology, and establish some basic facts. A graph G has the Median Cycle Property (MCP) if every triple (u0,u1,u2) of vertices of G admits a unique median or a unique median cycle, that is a gated cycle C of G such that for all i,j,k∈{0,1,2}, if xi is the gate of ui in C, then: {xi,xj}⊆IG(ui,uj) if ij, and dG(xi,xj)<dG(xi,xk)+dG(xk,xj). We prove that a netlike partial cube has the MCP if and only if it contains no triple of convex cycles pairwise having an edge in common and intersecting in a single vertex. Moreover a finite netlike partial cube G has the MCP if and only if G can be obtained from a set of even cycles and hypercubes by successive gated amalgamations, and equivalently, if and only if G can be obtained from K1 by a sequence of special expansions. We also show that the geodesic interval space of a netlike partial cube having the MCP is a Pash-Peano space (i.e. a closed join space).  相似文献

Static adsorption of serine alkaline protease (SAP) enzyme on hydrophobic polyether sulfone (PES) ultrafiltration membranes in different ionic environments was investigated. The amount of SAP adsorbed on membranes was the lowest at its isoelectric point (IEP) where the maximum adsorption was obtained below the IEP of the enzyme. The extent of SAP adsorption in the phosphate buffer solutions including different salts followed the order: (NH4)2HPO4 > KH2PO4 > Na2HPO4-NaH2PO4 (buffer) > CaCl2 > ((NH4)2HPO4 + H2PO4 + CaCl2), which was consistent with the Hofmeister series. The zeta potentials of membranes contacted with the ionic species were calculated by streaming potential measurements and found that the increase in ionic strength decreased the electrical double layer thickness leading to a decrease in adsorption. A model based on mass balance was developed to calculate the diffusion coefficient of SAP in PES membranes. Employing experimental data evaluated in a diffusion cell along with the data of adsorption isotherms, diffusion coefficients of SAP in PES membranes in the presence of different ionic species were calculated. To detect the structural changes occurred, membrane surfaces were analysed by Fourier transform infrared-attenuated total reflectance (FTIR-ATR) measurements.  相似文献

Interaction forces between alumina surfaces were measured using an AFM-colloid probe method at different pHs. For an alpha-alumina-sapphire system at acidic pH, the force curve exhibited a well-defined repulsive barrier and an attractive minimum. At basic pH, the interactive force was repulsive at all separations with no primary minimum. Lateral force measurements under the same conditions showed that frictional forces were nearly an order of magnitude smaller at basic pH than those observed at acidic pH. This behavior was attributed to the hydration of the alumina surface. Normal and lateral force measurements with the strongly hydrated rho-alumina surfaces supported these findings.  相似文献

In this study, (Bi2O3)1?x?y(Sm2O3)x(CeO2)y ternary system was synthesized by using solid-state reaction method. Structural, morphological, thermal and electrical properties of the samples were evaluated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy, thermo gravimetry/differential thermal analyzer and four-probe method. The XRD measurement results indicated that the samples (x = 10–15, y = 5–10–15–20) had cubic δ-phase crystallographic structure. The phase stability of the samples was checked by the differential thermal analyzer measurements, which indicates most of the samples have stable δ-Bi2O3 phase. The electrical conductivity measurement results showed that the electrical conductivity increased with mol% CeO2 molar ratio at a fixed molar ratio of Sm2O3. The highest electrical conductivity obtained for the (Bi2O3)0.65(Sm2O3)0.15(CeO2)0.20 system was 1.55 × 10?2 (Ω.cm)?1 at 600 °C. The activation energies were also calculated at low temperature range (350–650 °C) which vary from 1.1325 to 1.4460 eV and at high temperature (above 650 °C) which vary from 0.4813 to 1.1071 eV.  相似文献

This work studies the Cauchy problem for the generalized damped multidimensional Boussinesq equation.
